Images that say something
Images that say something
Global Aviation relies heavily on stock imagery. At the same time, this presents a challenge: the same images are used repeatedly, while the topics of blog posts and newsletters are constantly changing.
For Global Aviation, this meant that the visuals and content didn’t always align. The visuals were recognizable, but they added little to the story in terms of content. This presented a clear opportunity to give visuals a more active role within the content.
Existing assets as a point of departure
Instead of new shoots or generic stock footage, it was decided to work with existing material. This ensures recognition and preserves the visual identity. From there, the images are modified and enhanced using AI, without losing their original character.
For each blog post or newsletter, we examine the content’s topic. Based on that, we further develop the images. Sometimes a device is placed in a different environment or setting. In other cases, subtle visual elements are added, such as shadows or other recognizable details. No major changes, but targeted adjustments that make the image better align with the content.
Familiar, but never the same
Because the same aircrafts are used consistently, the underlying style remains recognizable to the target audience.
At the same time, the variation in context ensures that each image feels different. Appropriate to the subject and relevant to the reader. This creates a balance between consistency and variety.
Respond more quickly to content
In this industry, it’s not always easy to produce new visual content. This makes it difficult to respond quickly to current topics. By repurposing existing assets in this way, content production becomes more flexible. New visuals can be developed faster, without relying on new shoots. The visuals not only support the content but actively contribute to it.
They make the topic visually clearer and ensure a stronger connection between image and text. For Global Aviation, this means working in a more timely and efficient manner, with visuals that are more relevant to every communication.
