Virtual Reality: You don't know what you're seeing...

The concept of Virtual Reality has been around for a long time. However, it has taken a long time to come up with concrete examples that consumers could interact with. That moment now seems to have arrived. With the advent of new high-end technologies for Google Glass, Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR, the virtual world has gained momentum.

An example of what is now possible: we can now experience a live concert on stage next to Paul McCartney using Virtual Reality glasses and headphones. In doing so, you can turn your head 360 degrees, so you can look into the auditorium and see the audience. The volume of the sound then changes too. And, of course, there are also many business opportunities. Capital Advertising is on top of this. As an agency, it is actively involved in several projects. We supervise a start-up by students of Fontys Digital Business Concepts. With their company Virtual Home Inspiration, they offer consumers a glimpse into their future home that has yet to be built. Because when making an important decision like buying a house, you do want to be sure you are making the right choice. Estate agents, construction companies and property developers are very interested and participate in the project. So are interior consultants, furniture shops and bathroom suppliers.
